I was born in Milwaukee, WI and moved to Portland, OR at an early age before eventually finding my way to San Diego where I currently reside. All the places I have lived have helped shape me into the man I am today and have allowed me to pursue a vast range of activities and hobbies. When not in my art studio or working behind a computer screen, I enjoy a multitude of outdoor activities which has led to a profound appreciation for the natural world. Fishing, hiking camping, golfing, running, surfing, and snowboarding are just to name a few of the things I enjoy.
For as long as I can remember I have always had an interest in creative endeavors. My artistic pursuits were first sparked by my mother who was my elementary art teacher, and thirty some years later I continue to create.I switched from a business major to a fine arts major during my time spent earning an undergraduate degree from the University of San Diego. My interests and education in business and art, combined with a natural entrepreneurial spirit, led to me starting my own companies right out of college. The ups and downs I experienced from running my own businesses has led to valuable knowledge and skills that I apply in my career today.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have been able to make a career out of doing the things I love, and feel truly blessed to have wonderful friends, family and an amazing wife that understand my passions and support my path in life.
